BUSH VETCH Vicia sepium Family LEGUMINOSAE In hedges, woods, and bushy places the Bush Vetch will frequently be found. It is a slightly hairy perennial and has a creeping rootstock, which gives off numerous runners, so that an old plant forms great masses. !ts weak and straggling stems grow to a length of one to two feet.
